Annette O'Toole grew up in the Houston dance studio, which was managed by her mom. As a young girl of two, she first appeared on television when she was a kid in The Don Mahoney Kids Trooper Show. After ten years of dancing and singing with her mom and sister, she traveled for a trip to L.A. to try and see if a show business career could be a possibility. In less than two months, she was offered her first job: dancing with Danny Kaye on The Danny Kaye Show. She has utilized her dancing and singing talents in numerous ways. It's a discipline-building experience that comes from these classes is invaluable for actors." O'Toole's first appearance as an actor was My Three Sons. This was then followed with Gunsmoke. The Mod Squad. and Hawaii Five-O. The most important thing that O'Toole loves, in spite of her film and television success, is theatre. After her six year run on Smallville was over, to dedicate herself to the theater. It's exactly what she's been doing since beginning of this decade. She was in New York and her first audition landed her part of The Sea Gull. She's been in numerous off-Broadway plays, such as Adam Rapp's Kindness, Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska as well as Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday For Creve Couer.
