Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father was an educator at school while her mother was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her three elder siblings. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. When she won her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was just 6 year old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see whether McCormick was interested in getting involved in the industry of entertainment. McCormick was chosen to play in her first big role in 1964 in a tv commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical The Wind It Up And It Breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won an audition in 1969 from over 1200 kids to be the oldest of the three twin daughters in The Brady Bunch TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The show lasted five years. McCormick, in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published in 2008, McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the television show, she was close to losing her virginity with her twin brother Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick disclosed in her book Here's the story: Surviving Marcia and Finding My True Voice, that during season five on the show she almost lost her virginity to actor Barry Williams. It would have happened she stated, but the time wasn't right for us.
