Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox, who studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. She survived on a student salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. Lennox decided to change her career path after she became dissatisfied by her inexperience and lack of talent the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She quit the band shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. The main part of her role was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva and it was released in 1992. In both commercial terms and critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprised of four songs improvised. The E.P. is a companion piece to her art installation in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now I'll Let You go... It's the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on the 25th of December 1954. After minor successes as a part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the pop duo Eurythmics in the 1980s. In 1992 Lennox began her solo career with her debut album Diva which yielded numerous successful tracks, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio features covers of No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo album compilations and studio albums.
